Circus Praxinoscope
The praxinoscope is an early animation device which uses mirrors in a spinning cylinder to trick your eye into seeing pictures as an animation. It was invented in the 1870s, but this working replica is still a delight to spin by hand today. The outside is decorated with old-fashioned circus pictures, making it an intriguing display piece even when at rest. Comes with 19 different animation strips.
